Lambretta Vega 125cc

The Lambretta Vega was first registered on 9th August 1971 in Popular, London, just over 50 years ago, Doug Miller a well known Lambretta scooterist became the second owner in October 1972, keeping the Vega for some 43 years during this time Doug loaned the bike to David Hardy who entered The Beamish Trophy Trial using the Vega. During early part of 2015 I was looking for a Vega to use as a donor to build a replica of the 125cc which John and I raced in the seventies, when Doug heard he offered me his so on the 11th November 2015, I became the third owner.

Over the following five years this project has become a real labour of love, in the 45 year’s since the vehicle was first registered as you would expect fair wear and tear has taken it’s toll, the Vega was in need of a complete strip and rebuild, and what you see here in the short film is the end result.
